The land of Great Trail traces back to the historic Great Trail pathway. In the mid-1960s local investors planted the seeds of a community golf course that would grow into the 27-hole layout enjoyed today. Over decades the course expanded, the clubhouse became a gathering place, and in 2023 a new ownership group began a thoughtful revitalization — preserving the land's character while investing in lodging, dining, and event spaces.
