About The Inn at GTGC

The Inn at Great Trail Golf Course features 5 accommodating rooms with  2 suites that were completely remodeled in 2024.  The Inn is located on Great Trail Golf Course and attached to the clubhouse as well as the future sight of the newly remodeled Grand Venue and brewery/restaurant which is currently under extensive renovations. 

The Inn features views of the scenic golf course and rolling hills of Ohio. The rich history of the land tells the story of The Great Trail  which dates back to the early 1800s. In 1965 a group of local investors came together to create what is known as Great Trail Golf Course. The original 9-holes opened in the late 1960’s followed by the second 9 holes in the mid 1970’s and completing the 27 hole layout in the early 1990’s.

 In 2023 the next generation of local investors came together to purchase, carry on, and enhance the legacy of this amazing property.  Throughout the years, the course has evolved into some of Northeast Ohio’s most scenic golf which includes a 27 hole golf course,  newly remodeled lodging, beautiful event space(re-opening in summer 2025), and a small craft brewery/restaurant (opening fall/winter 2025).  

This hidden secret was built on over 330 acres of rolling hills, dense woods, and panoramic views. Your lodging and or golfing experience brings you close to nature and may include encounters with white tail deer, wild turkey, red tail hawk, or fox. 

At Great Trail Golf Course our friendly team is always excited to make your visit with us a special retreat away from home.  The Inn at Great Trail Golf Course is located about one mile to the historic downtown of Minerva where you will find plenty to do including parks, small boutique shops, restaurants, and the local brewery Sandy Springs Brewing Co.
